ABOUT

STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Picture
CultureBridge was founded in 2017 to cater to the needs of the cultural heritage and creative sectors on cultural and copyright policy matters.

Brigitte Vézina, consultant at CultureBridge, is an experienced, resourceful and accomplished international lawyer with close to two decades of experience in policy and practical issues in the field of copyright and trademark law, culture and heritage.

Brigitte is passionate about fashion, art, handicraft and cultural institutions in all shapes and sizes and has a deep understanding of how the law operates in relation to culture. She sees
cultural institutions, such as museums, libraries, archives and galleries, as gateways to knowledge, culture and works of imagination. She also appreciates how central they are to the development, promotion and safeguarding of cultural expressions and diversity and how these functions come to interact with policy systems. For Brigitte, what matters is to put clients' interests front and center and to develop targeted, strategic solutions that are in line with their needs and aspirations.

Brigitte holds a Master's of Law (LLM) degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the Université de Montréal. She is a member of the Québec Bar (2003). She speaks English, French, German, Dutch and Spanish.

CultureBridge is registered with the Kamer von Koophandel under number 70411344.
